This past Saturday we had International Day with three other homeschool families. It was different from the other years we've participated but still a fun learning experience. Each family studied a country and some of the children gave oral reports about what they had learned.
Lily and Gracie both gave short reports and did a great job. We studied Nicaragua which is where our Compassion Child Blanca lives. Gracie chose to wear a dress that Tim had bought for her when he went to Mexico. She wanted to look as much like Blanca as possible. Lily opted out of dressing the part this year. (Tim had bought her a dress too.) More pictures are posted at the bottom of the page. Enjoy!

Wow! What a neat project to work on as a family! The girls look gorgous in their gowns. I especially like the one at the bottom of the page of Gracie being covered by Lily's shaw. Precious moments!
