I have been doing something lately that I've never made a habit of doing... I've been listening to the news. Now, "news" can mean a lot of different things and certainly what some people think is news and what I consider to be newsworthy are often very different. It should come as no surprise that I am conservative and therefore I tune in to those of the same mindset. But, more and more, and maybe you will agree, it's tough to know who to believe. So, I've been spending some time on the Internet and have found two particular websites that I think are completely trustworthy and are dedicated to keeping our country informed with the truth. I truly believe that now more than ever we need to be aware of what's happening in our government and how the decisions that are being made will affect us and our children and our grandchildren! I have also determined that we cannot rely on the mainstream media to tell us all we should know or even report on certain issues at all. For example, did you know that last week was the 34th annual Walk for Life in Washington D.C.? Huge event!
We are privileged to be Americans and I along with that comes a responsibility to be well informed about all that's happening...close to home and thousands of miles away. I encourage you to check out these sites and even add them to your favorites column for easy access. Thanks! : )
