We enjoyed our visit with my parents. I talked with my Mom a short time ago and they arrived safely at my brother's house in Bloomington, IL and were able to again dodge snow for the most part.
We had a good time with them and it was good to have them here. We played several rounds of Apples to Apples, one of Lily's birthday presents. We watched a few movies and Lily and my Dad worked for hours on a new puzzle. Tim's Mom bought Lily this cool puzzle board for her birthday. It has four drawers where you can sort specific pieces and it's just the greatest thing. We told my Dad we'd email a picture of the completed work as soon as it is finished. Don't hold your breath!
Anyway, today I did what I often do after we've had company. I put off washing the sheets on the guest bed for awhile as well as the towels in the guest bathroom. For me, putting those items in the washer is like the final confirmation that, yes, our company is no longer here. Anyway, the sheets and towels are almost dry now so that means they're ready for anyone who'd like to visit! :)
