"Thoughts for the Mind" by Lily

I just finished a school project this morning at 7:15. It was based on a picture book called "Little Life Lessons". For the project, I had to come up with my own ideas using different character traits. Then, I had to add illustrations for each idea. I thought I would share them with you.

Thoughts for the Mind

Cooperate means, "How about if I pick up the dolls and you pick of their dresses?"

Patient means, Waiting until your mother is done with her work so she can play with you.

Respect means, Holding the door for your mother.

Trustworthy means, If you ask me to do my chores when you are gone, they will be done when you get back.

Compassionate means, "Don't be sad, you can have some of my paper."

Greedy means, Eating the whole candy bar without asking if anyone else wanted any.

Generous means, Giving someone something that you have, but they don't.

Polite means, "Excuse me, I need to get by."

Honest means, "I was the one that broke the flower pot."

Proud means, "I am so happy I won first place in the contest!"

Modest means, You don't go around telling everybody how you did in the beauty contest.

Fair means, "You get five M&M's and I get five M&M's."

Unfair means, "You get some M&M's and I get the rest of the package."

Regret means, I wish I hadn't watched that movie!

Wise means, I thought I knew everything about following Jesus, I don't.

Open-minded means, "That cake looks, uh...interesting, but I'll try it."

Envy means, "Boy, I wish I had your hair!"

Pessimistic means, How wretched! I only have five more minutes to play!

Optimistic means, How wonderful! I have five more minutes to play!

Courageous means, If someone is being treated poorly, you should be courageous and tell the other person to stop hurting that person.

Loyal means, Even though you're not popular, I will be your friend.

Content means, Rocking in a chair holding a baby!
