Coupons anyone?

Do you clip coupons? We do not get the Sunday paper which usually has coupon fliers in it, but I've found a way to make up for that. Actually, I have two ways. My Gramma, who lives in New Hampshire, and will be 90 in June actually cuts out coupons from those fliers and mails them to me several times a month! Isn't that sweet? I love it! The other way I find coupons I need is through the links that I added on the sidebar. There are several and well worth a visit if you're not familiar with them. As long as you have a printer you'll be all set. (I print mine in black and white and have never had a problem with a store accepting them.)

The other goody I've recently discovered is all of the money saving type blogs that are out there! I also listed some of my favorites on the sidebar and will continue to add to the list. These bloggers are just everyday people like you and me who spend a lot of their time finding coupons, deals, sales and even freebies and share them with us! I am amazed at some of the deals they find that I would not know about otherwise. Anything from a free meal at Applebees with a $10 purchase to a $5 coupon off any purchase at HallMark. Some deals are big, others are small but worth it if it applies to you. I must admit...I got some outrageous deals for Christmas shopping through these sights. I'm certain I didn't pay full price for one single gift and I even got a few things for free! Now, some of these bloggers are r-e-a-l-l-y into saving and often have contests to see who spends the least on groceries for the week. Although I haven't reached that point, mostly because I don't have many grocery store options here in North Central Kansas, it is fun to read and learn from their experiences. I've picked up some great ideas and tips. Yes, it was through one of these that the whole paper towel challenge came into play. That is, by the way, working well for us...so far. :)
