That's My Girl

Today we went to Salina for the day. We had library books to return and other errands to run. Great surprise! When we got to the library, we discovered they were having a book sale and all enjoyed browsing. I used great restraint as I'm presently in a huge "cleaning out" phase at home. (We walked away with only 8 books! :) ) Anyway, one of our stops was at Kohls. I needed to return a bra that I had hastily picked up and bought for Lily about a month ago. I thought for sure that it would fit her and we didn't have the time to try it on right then. Lo and behold, when Lily tried it on...no go. Now, I had not properly prepared her for the task of bra shopping today and frankly wasn't sure I had the energy to face that chore either so I just returned it and we went on our way. As we were leaving the store, I put my arm around Lily and said, "you know, we're going to have to try some on the next time we come to Salina." She answered, begrudgingly, "I know." After a pause, she quietly added, "but maybe the rapture will occur before we get back."

That's my girl! :)
