We are studying about ancient civilizations this year in history. I LOVE history, but not necessarily THAT part of history. Regardless, so far, we really like the curriculum that we're using. We've begun with Ancient Egypt and frankly, I've already learned a lot! This afternoon we attempted to make a model of the Nile River. Each week we have to "flood" the river and hopefully, the grass seed we sprinkled along the banks will begin to grow. I'm not known for my great successes with projects like this so...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We'll keep you posted.
