Happy New Year!

I hope your new year is off to a good start! Ours is, although it's been busy already. Tomorrow night Tim is performing a wedding at our church. Gracie is a flower girl and Lily is overseeing the guestbook, etc. I hope to make sure that everyone does their job correctly. We just returned from the rehearsal and dinner. I will be sure to post pictures as soon as possible.

Tim has had one of those weeks..."when it rains, it pours"... you know what I mean. But he is managing well. If anything, it makes me remember to pray for him even more as he tries to help these teens and their families.
Tonight, before we left for the rehearsal I was praying that he would be able to remember everything that he needed to...knowing that he would sort of be in charge. Anyway, he began the rehearsal with prayer, humbly admitted that in the past when he'd performed weddings that there had always been a wedding coordinator. Then, he said, "so, I'm going to have my wife take over from here because I know it will go smoothly that way." Now, some of you might be thinking WHAT? How could he do that? I didn't respond that way...I was thrilled and found that although I've never done that before, I enjoyed it!
We'll see how it goes tomorrow...
So now Lily thinks I should become a Wedding Planner and makes LOTS of money! Tim agrees. I think Gracie would too, as long as she could BE in all of the weddings!
