As many of you know, Lily enjoys being in the kitchen cooking and baking. This school year we decided that each month she will choose a dessert recipe to prepare for our family. (She's preparing lunch and dinner once a month for us too!) We thought it would be fun for her to share each recipe she tries on the blog so today she's typed in a cookie recipe. It will probably look familiar to you...it's always been one of her favorites.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies 10 min.

350*

1/2 C peanut butter

1/2 C margarine

1/2 C sugar

1/2 C brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 bag kisses

1 egg

1 1/3 C flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

Beat margarine, p.b., 1/2 C sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt; Gradually add and blend into creamed mixture. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, roll in 1/4 C sugar to coat. Place balls 2 inches apart on greased sheets. Bake for 9min. Remove cookies from oven. Quickly top with a kiss pressing firmly. Return to oven for 1 min. Remove from oven. Cool on racks. Be sure not to leave them in longer that they need, they burn quick.

Enjoy!
